Everybody is different and has different reasons for guitar lessons. Here are some examples of that:

They like the sound of the guitar, the music the guitar makes, and the experience of joy it brings to them. They go on to use their guitar playing abilities for the fun it creates in their lives.
JAMES GERO MUSIC has guitar lessons for example 2: There are those who use guitar as a stress reliever. They work hard at their job. When their day is done and they are settled in on their time they use learning how to play the guitar to help wash away the stress of the day.
JAMES GERO MUSIC has guitar lessons for example 3: There are those who want to learn to play the guitar to keep their mind active. Learning to play the guitar works out the inner workings of the mind: the memory, focus, and reasoning, and helps keep their integrity up.
JAMES GERO MUSIC has guitar lessons for example 4: There are those who want to learn to play guitar for a serious music career. They go on to use their guitar playing abilities as a solo artist or in a band, and they go out to perform in shows or concerts.
Electric or Acoustic
Electric guitars are fine for your guitar lessons. The music principles are the same for both of them. The difference is one takes more work to play than the other. The reason for this is the electric guitar uses thinner gauge guitar strings which means the strings have a smaller diameter in their thickness and are therefore thinner strings. This requires less finger and hand strength to push the strings down on the fretboard, and this therefore makes the electric guitar easier to play. The acoustic guitar uses thicker gauge guitar strings which means the strings have a larger diameter in their thickness and are therefore thicker strings. This requires more finger and hand strength to push the strings down on the fretboard, and this therefore requires more work to play the acoustic guitar. The electric guitar runs on the principle of amplification. When music is played on the electric guitar the strings vibrate and the vibrations are sent into the pick-ups, converted into electric energy, then sent to the amplifier that converts it again and ultimately projects the sound out to be heard. This works well for thin guitar strings. The acoustic guitar runs on the principle of raw acoustic properties. When music is played on the acoustic guitar the strings vibrate and the vibrations are sent into the sound box, bounce all around, resonate, and continue in this process repeatedly while the sound is projecting out of the sound box to be heard. Thick gauge guitar strings are needed here to make this process work well and to produce a thick and rich sound.
GUITAR PLAYERS JUST STARTING OUT
Learning how to play the guitar divides into two parts. The first being the ideas of music knowledge. The second being the knowledge of music ideas applied to the physical. Step one is to know and understand the correct idea in the mind of what you are about to do on the guitar fretboard. The second step is to take this correct idea and express is physically on the guitar fretboard with the right fingers. Applying the right fingers at this time is something that should be taken seriously. The guitar player is now ready to put his hands to work together at the same time on the guitar fretboard to do this. The musical idea needs to be kept correct and accurate in its form, and the guitar player’s hands: the fret hand fingers and the pick hand fingers need to do this in the way that is the right fingering for it. Here it is important to make sure that all the constituent parts of this are correct. Because, this is the point where if one of these parts are off, it will produce a faulty premise that will fold into the guitar players base of knowledge. The result of this could cause a lot of problems for that guitar player later on. The outcome that a new guitar player that is just starting out would want to have is to make sure that this is done right the first time. As a result, there will be a correct premise put in place to build on, and the guitar player’s progress can advance forward. BY: JAMES GERO MUSIC GUITAR INSTRUCTION GUITAR LESSONS.
